Role:
The Head of Campaigns leads the organisation’s public mobilisation and campaigning strategy across the UK empowering and supporting people affected by dementia to influence the change they want to see. The postholder plays a key leadership function in driving campaigning strategy and supporter engagement that contributes to meaningful system-level change, ensuring that no one faces dementia alone, and that every family receives the specialist support they need.
Working closely with the Deputy Director of Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs and the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, the postholder will shape a cohesive programme of strategic campaigning and supporter mobililisation on both a national and local scale, grounded in a clear theory of change and robust evaluation in line with the charity’s 2025-30 strategy. The post-holder will also play a key senior leadership role across the organisation, offering expertise in supporter mobilisation, self-advocacy, and external engagement, represent the charity in external forums and lead the campaigns and engagement team to deliver inclusive and impactful campaigning activity in line with our long-term influencing strategy to help transform dementia care across the UK.
