Role:
Our client is seeking an Interim Communications Lead to join the brilliant, high performing ADASS central team. They are looking for someone who is experienced in communications and all aspects of media management, who can further support their work to raise the profile of adult social care and the difference it makes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is already well established in their career to work nationally, in a fast-paced environment and to support the ADASS Trustees, Chief Executive and other senior colleagues to deliver on what is an increasingly high-profile agenda.
Prior knowledge of Adult Social Care, Health and Care or Local Government isn't a requirement - albeit appreciated. They are looking for a creative individual, who can strengthen the work of the charity and influence sustainable, positive change.

In this key role you will:
- Coordinate responses to media enquiries and lead work on traditional media, drafting lines and media responses
- Manage and grow the reach of their social media channels, creating engaging digital content including blogs, video, podcasts etc.
- Monitoring media and social media analytics to evaluate the organisation’s impact and reach and share with their staff and members through their media round-up and bulletin
- Oversee growth and development of the ADASS website, providing data-based oversight and improvement proposals to ensure it reflects the work and objectives of ADASS, ensuring all public-facing webpages are up to date and accessible to a wide range of audiences
- Manage internal communications to support and engage the different groups of ADASS members including preparing their bulletin
- Manage, maintain and develop CRM database systems (Salesforce), Event Management platform (Eventsforce), and internal communications and mass-mailing platform (Mailchimp)
- Support the delivery of key ADASS projects and events.
