Leading national disability campaign
​Role:

In this role you will:
  • Lead the campaigns team in all its activities including the development, implementation and evaluation of campaigns
  • Develop and manage network of supporters and advocates and be jointly responsible with Head of Campaigns and Policy for wider influencing work
  • Be an active member of the wider directorate management team, providing guidance on campaigns strategy, priorities and delivery
  • Nurture and develop internal and external stakeholders ensuring their input is built into campaigning activities
  • Deputise for the Head of Campaigns and Policy as required.
​Candidate:
​
  • Strong, demonstrable experience of leading innovative and creative campaigns both at a local and national level with real successes of influencing policy/practice
  • Experience of building and developing networks of supporters and involving them in the creation of effective campaigns
  • Solid line management and staff development experience
  • Confident in representing a national organisation in the media and at external events.
