Role:
The CTO will work closely with the CEO and Product Owner to develop the technical framework for this fantastic innovative digital product. Engaging with key stakeholders you will work with application partners to create system requirements and design functionality. You'll lead on a series of pilot projects and oversee the final implementation and roll-out.

The CTO will work closely with the CEO and Product Owner to develop the technical framework for this fantastic innovative digital product. Engaging with key stakeholders you will work with application partners to create system requirements and design functionality. You'll lead on a series of pilot projects and oversee the final implementation and roll-out.
In this role you will:
- Create and oversee the technical architecture and determine the design and delivery method
- Develop Requirements and Functional Specifications, leading on the RFI and tender processes to identity and select technical partners
- Manage the delivery of pilot projects and products
- Recruit and manage the technical team
- Develop data standards and develop and manage APIs
- Build relationships with technical teams within stakeholder organisations.
Candidate:
- Significant experience of senior stakeholder engagement and communication with technical teams, ideally in the education and careers sector
- Experience of managing tender processes to select technical partners
- Demonstrable experience of product development and delivery, user experience, impact tracking and management reporting
- Experience of Agile development processes and demonstrable experience of software and IT department management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage at all levels and able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Entrepreneurial, passionate about digital products, keen to progress within a high growth, start-up environment.
