In this role you will:
- Design, commission and deliver all evaluation activities to inform organisational and sector-wide policy and practice
- Ensure that learning from evaluations contributes to strategic planning, programme design and funding proposals
- Line manage an Evaluation Officer
- Contribute to the development of evaluation tools and guidelines for improved planning, execution and learning
Candidate:
- Masters degree in international development, social policy or public health
- Demonstrable experience of designing and commissioning programme/project evaluations within the international development sector
- Strong experience of ensuring effective use of evaluation output, ideally within a complex, multi-centred, international organisation
- Strong understanding of best practice in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment and accountability
- Proven experience of effective line management
