In this fantastic role you will:
In this fantastic role you will:
- Be responsible for influencing Welsh Government policy and legislation to benefit autistic people and their families through direct lobbying and by coordinating campaigning activity and promote the charity, its services and other activities via the media and other communication channels
- Plan, implement and evaluate PR activities in Wales as part of the charity’s overall External Affairs strategy and national strategy, proactively seeking coverage for the charity’s campaigns, services and fundraising activities.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results driven individual with strong communication and leaderships skills. Specifically, they are looking for candidates able to demonstrate:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results driven individual with strong communication and leaderships skills. Specifically, they are looking for candidates able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of Welsh Government structures and of press and broadcast media in Wales (the ability to communicate in Welsh is an advantage)
- Relevant experience in an external communications role, ideally in Wales
- Experience of delivering campaigns and working with politicians
- Experience of stakeholder management and developing partnerships
- Knowledge and understanding of the non-profit sector and an understanding of autism
- Understanding of digital marketing and social media practices.
