​Role:

In this fantastic post you will:
​

• Play a key role within the External Relations team building and supporting the development of relationships with key stakeholders with the aim of promoting policy goals within national political, healthcare, welfare and social policy networks
• Support the proactive engagement of external organisations (Pharmaceuticals, Royal Colleges, health Associations) in promoting excellence in care and greater access to treatments
• Undertake research and draft briefings for senior management and identify opportunities to promote organisational messages and work across the organisation to maximise influence
• Draft communications, including briefings and letters in support of the organisation’s work with external and strategic partners.
• Represent the organisation at external meetings and support the organisation of key events to engage with external stakeholders.

​Candidate:
​

• Degree educated with evidence of continuous professional development
• Several years’ experience in a similar external relations role including pharmaceutical and/or professional body engagement
• Experience of influencing change effectively and an excellent understanding of the health and social care environment in the UK
• Demonstrable experience of producing high quality and persuasive written and oral communications, including concise policy briefings, reports and presentations
• Experience of events management, internal and external collaborative working and partnership development.
