In this newly created role you will:
- Lead the strategic development, engagement and delivery of the organisation’s campaigns and public affairs programme
- Develop and lead (utilising policy evidence and research) an innovative model of campaigning and influencing that is the envy of the third-sector
- Oversee the management of their public affairs programme and delivery ensuring a high profile in parliament and government
- Work closely with the Head of Policy to advise and build relationships with key decision-makers in central and local government, health and social care, regulatory bodies and other relevant stakeholders
- Line-manage the Campaigns Managers and Public Affairs Manager.
Candidate:
- Significant experience in a leadership role inspiring a campaigns and public affairs team and fully integrating a policy function to maximise impact
- Significant experience designing, leading and delivering highly dynamic and impactful influencing campaigns
- Significant experience developing and managing the production of robust, high quality campaigns and public affairs materials and collateral
- Experience commissioning and managing whole organisational campaigns and working with agencies
- Experience of effectively operating at a strategic level within an organisation and maintaining cross-directorate relationships.
