Highly regarded social welfare campaign 
​Role:

In this newly created role you will:
​
  • Lead the strategic development, engagement and delivery of the organisation’s campaigns and public affairs programme
  • Develop and lead (utilising policy evidence and research) an innovative model of campaigning and influencing that is the envy of the third-sector
  • Oversee the management of their public affairs programme and delivery ensuring a high profile in parliament and government
  • Work closely with the Head of Policy to advise and build relationships with key decision-makers in central and local government, health and social care, regulatory bodies and other relevant stakeholders
  • Line-manage the Campaigns Managers and Public Affairs Manager. 
​Candidate:
​
  • Significant experience in a leadership role inspiring a campaigns and public affairs team and fully integrating a policy function to maximise impact
  • Significant experience designing, leading and delivering highly dynamic and impactful influencing campaigns
  • Significant experience developing and managing the production of robust, high quality campaigns and public affairs materials and collateral
  • Experience commissioning and managing whole organisational campaigns and working with agencies
  • Experience of effectively operating at a strategic level within an organisation and maintaining cross-directorate relationships.
