​Role:

In this role you will:
​

• ​Lead the development of an internal communications strategy that supports the strategic objectives of the charity
• Engage with colleagues across the organisation and work effectively with teams and senior leaders to inform and excite colleagues about the breath of the charity’s work
• Lead the development of a plan to communicate an ambitious internal transformation programme that informs and engages colleagues
• Ensure that regional offices and different teams are represented and engaged with the communications plans
• Manage the day-to-day responsibilities, performance and development of three Internal Communications Officers.

​​Candidate:​
​

• ​​Demonstrable experience of managing a communications team within a medium-sized organisation
• Clear understanding of the role of internal communications within an organisation and sound understanding of appropriate channels
• Proven experience of managing external suppliers/consultants
• Previous experience of employee branding programmes, employee engagement and cultural change would be desirable
• Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills
• Collaborative in approach, excellent relationship building, planning and organisational skills.
