Head of Policy (Interim)

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Full time, 6 month FTC (possibility of extension) immediate start strongly preferred

​Role:

In this role you will:
​

• Lead the strategic development, engagement and delivery of the organisation’s policy and research programme
• Manage the strategic direction and delivery of policy and research activities
• Maximise the impact and reach of their policy and research activities, internally and externally
• Deputise for the Director of Policy and Influencing.

​Candidate:
​

• Significant experience in a leadership role within a social policy function
• Demonstrable track record of influencing policy change
• Experience of commissioning and managing policy projects and working with agencies
• Significant experience developing and producing first-class policy output
• Strategic thinker who is able to analyse and solve complex problems and line-manage a team of three Policy Managers.
