In this fantastic role you will:
- Lead on and enable excellent internal communications for the charity, ensuring all communications channels are fully utilised and their national network of staff feel informed and engaged
- Develop an annual internal communications plan, working with key stakeholders to ensure the workforce is informed and engaged using audience insight
- Oversee the day to day running of the intranet, maintaining design, content and technical performance
- Provide appropriate, tailored advice on communications techniques to enable colleagues to engage with internal audiences more effectively
- Run stand-alone internal communications campaigns on key initiatives, managing them from start to finish
- Work closely with HR to support a range of activities including employee surveys and engagement initiatives
- Line-manage a Senior Internal Communications Officer.
Candidate:
- Demonstrable experience in a senior internal communications role with a track record of developing and running successful internal communications campaigns for medium to large, complex organisations
- Ability to think strategically and be able to work with and influence a variety of different people at different levels both in person and remotely
- Demonstrable experience of developing on-brand content for and running and updating an Intranet
- Proven understanding of technical requirements of the intranet and experience of working with IT and external suppliers
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
