​Role:

In this role you will:
​

• Identify and maximise opportunities to further the charity’s policy agenda
• Develop and implement a comprehensive and robust policy strategy to influence national policy
• Research and draft evidence-based policy positions
• Identify and build effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Line-manage a member of staff within the policy and campaigns team.

​Candidate:
​

• At least four years experience in a strategic policy development and influencing role and a demonstrable knowledge and interest in health policy and the NHS
• Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of evidence-based policy development
• First-class networking, influencing and relationship building skills with sound political judgement
• Strong project management skills, experience of producing high-quality policy reports, briefings and communications for a range of diverse audiences
• At least one year’s experience of line-management.
