In this role you will:
- Contribute to high-quality evidence synthesis projects and evaluations to support policymakers, commissioners and practitioners to make decisions
- Undertake quantitative analysis on large datasets to explore the effectiveness of different interventions and identify cohorts and areas most likely to benefit from them
- Develop and utilise appropriate research and analytical methods and tools
- Develop and manage systems for gathering, recording, analysing and presenting data from a range of projects for maximum impact
- Contribute to the production of high-quality research, policy and evaluation reports, interpreting complex evidence in an accessible way for a range of audiences.
Candidate:
- Masters or PhD in economics or quantitative social science with excellent economic/statistical/quantitative research skills
- Good knowledge of a range of analytical (cost-benefit analysis) and evaluation techniques, including impact evaluation
- Ability to develop and utilise appropriate methods and tools to support high quality research
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage a range of different audiences
- Excellent organisational and planning skills to ensure that work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines.
