Our client is a UK charity bringing communities together to end domestic abuse. They support organisations, including community and faith-based partners, criminal justice partners, housing, social services, healthcare workers and charities, to identify and respond effectively together to domestic abuse. Their aim is to help these communities, services, and agencies to work in partnership, so that people receive the best support at the time they need it.
Role:
This post will work as part of our client’s housing team whose mission is to improve the housing sector’s response to domestic abuse. This is achieved through three main projects including the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA), our client’s Housing First and Homelessness Project, and the Whole Housing Approach Project. Our client has received funding from The National Lottery to build upon learning from an initial 30-month pilot of the Whole Housing Approach across five local areas, to further develop and test the model with one local authority pilot site that will delivery all elements of the Whole Housing Approach. The team will be testing new aspects to partnership working and adding new components to the model. The post holder will work closely alongside the Whole housing Approach Programme Manager, the Whole Housing Approach Capacity Builder, and the rest of the WHA Team, to support pilot programme partners to produce an effective evaluation framework for all WHA components, which will be added to the WHA approach toolkit.

In this new role you will:
- Work with the WHA project team to create a theory of change for the Whole Housing Approach
- Establish an evaluation framework, including the creation of monitoring tools. This will be added to the WHA toolkit
- Engage with WHA team and pilot partners to ensure data is collected in a timely manner. Ensure timeframes and deadlines for data are communicated to pilot partners
- Collect, collate, analyse, and clean monitoring data from pilot partners. Data should be translated clearly and concisely
- Prepare and create reports using findings from monitoring data. Ensure reports are distributed and communicated to relevant contacts
- Develop and deliver any presentations, workshops/webinars, and to pilot programme partners regarding evaluation frameworks and outcomes
- Provide strategic input into the development of the monitoring and the evaluation of the WHA pilot delivery including the short-term and long-term impact of each WHA workstream
- Project manage their work, including using project management tools to develop the project plan and deliverables, monitoring, and reporting on outcomes and resources use and needs, and coordinate partner input and support. Identify where there are risks or gaps in project resourcing and proactively work to address these gaps and risks.
Candidate:
- Proven experience in research and evaluation, particularly establishing evaluation frameworks and creating monitoring tools to support this
- Proven ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex data to extract, summarise and act on key findings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing/input and presenting to a range of different audiences
- Experience of managing projects with the ability to utilise a range of project management tools
- Experience in working as a part of a multidisciplinary from a range of partner agencies
- Proven ability to work independently, to be flexible to service demands & work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent IT skills (inc MS Office and Excel) and familiarity with databases, and tools for data collection and monitoring
