- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the consortium of organisations appointed to evaluate the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) during the latter stages of its Phase 1
- If the organisation is successful with its proposal to evaluate Phase 2, to continue to lead the Consortium for the entirety of the Phase 2 evaluation.
Candidate:
Our client is looking for someone who has a conceptual understanding of quasi-experimental, implementation and process evaluation work, who can lead the execution of their evaluation design and oversee the work of the strand leads. This will not be hands on role, you will be providing strategic oversight of the consortium and will have the support of a team of people as well as the current lead of the evaluation:
Our client is looking for someone who has a conceptual understanding of quasi-experimental, implementation and process evaluation work, who can lead the execution of their evaluation design and oversee the work of the strand leads. This will not be hands on role, you will be providing strategic oversight of the consortium and will have the support of a team of people as well as the current lead of the evaluation:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrable track record of leading complex large-scale quantitative evaluations
- Strong understanding of what elements of a study matter in order to generate causal conclusions
- Strong understanding of current challenges around post-pandemic learning recovery
- Strong and confident communicator – in writing, face-to-face and in larger groups; able to adapt style for a range of different audiences, ideally media trained
- Able to manage and prioritise a range of activities to meet agreed deadlines.
