In this role you will:
- Design, manage and deliver multiple research projects across key themes including learning, skills and employment
- Liaise with funding organisations and manage project teams ensuring that work is delivered to time and quality expectations, and within budget
- Proactively engage with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that policy, practice and promotion activity is underpinned by robust research evidence, and achieves impact
- Develop and implement appropriate research methodologies, evaluation strategies and research tools
- Represent the organisation with key stakeholders including national and local government, trusts and foundations, providers and other research centres and think tanks
- Line-manage research staff as required.
Candidate:
- Masters degree in relevant subject area or evidence of equivalent research experience, ideally from working in a research, social or policy research agency or organisation
- Well developed skills in managing and delivering a range of research, evaluation and development projects
- Proven track record in delivering research projects to meet funders’ requirements (quality, time, and budget)
- Experience of developing research proposals and proven track record of securing funding
- Understanding and application of a range of research and evaluation methodologies and methods
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
