In this role you will:
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and execution of the PR strategy and tactics for the organisation’s proactive brand, fundraising and communications awareness campaigns
- Lead on the media delivery and performance of two press officers and proactively suggest public relations and media tactics and techniques
- Research and write content (including for digital) in support of PR activity including press releases, briefings, letters, statement and blogs
- Provide high-level media briefings to the CEO and spokespeople for national media interviews.
Candidate:
- Significant PR and media experience and demonstrable success delivering campaigns
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to be flexible, respond positively to change and work effectively under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities
- Well-developed news sense and an in-depth understanding of national, regional and local media (print, broadcast and online)
- Ability to think strategically, creatively and to problem-solve.
