​Role:

In this role you will:
​

• ​​Identify opportunities to influence national policies in health across government departments and bodies
• Lead of the development and implementation of national campaigns and initiatives to improve health policy and services by involving people living with the condition
• Analyse the implications of health policies, consultations from Westminster and develop and implement appropriate responses
• Create policy position papers to influence health policy and services across the UK
• Represent the charity on external groups and coalitions and at external meetings with stakeholders.

​Candidate:
​

• ​​​Detailed understanding of the NHS and the health policy landscape in the UK
• Proven experience of influencing government, decision makers and public policy at every level
• Demonstrable experience of running successful national campaigns, organising events and managing coalitions. Experience of involving service users in setting priorities and developing campaigns
• Proven experience and evidence of using creative ways of communications messages to relevant audiences
• Strong research, analytical and information gathering skills.
