- Contribute to the development of the organisation’s public policy positions, statements and arguments in pursuit of their goals to improve the lives of people living with the condition
- Specialise in treatments, specifically the research and processes that surround access to treatments and medicines for people with the condition
- Ensure that policy work is built on strong evidence and is informed by, and developed with, people affected by the condition and relevant professionals
- Work closely with colleagues in across the organisation (Campaigns, External Relations, Research, etc.) to enable the organisation to build effective campaigns and influencing programmes around key issues facing people with the condition.
Candidate:
- Educated to degree level with evidence of continued professional development
- Experience of working in a healthcare research or health policy analysis and development role with a proven track record of influencing others
- Experience of producing clear and concise reports, and/or policy briefing papers
- Good understanding of issuing accessing treatments experienced by people with disabling medical conditions, within the UK.
