In this role you will:
- Research and produce high quality evidence-based policy reports, briefings and papers for a range of audiences on key policy issues
- Work with the policy and campaigns manager to develop evidence-based policy positions in line with political developments and patient experiences to influence policy agenda in UK
- Lead on policy aspects of an international campaign, working with partners to conduct and commission research to better understand global impact of the disease
- Work with senior campaigns and public affairs officer to develop and implement advocacy and influencing activities across Westminster and with key decision makers.
Candidate:
- Strong understanding and knowledge of evidence-based policy development and significant experience of policy research and analysis, ideally within health
- Experienced in applying research and practice evidence to develop policy positions and demonstrable experience of writing briefings and reports for a range of audiences
- Excellent networking and influencing skills, able to build strong relationships and have a confident, assured manner for media work and in dealings with senior medical and NHS officials
- Enjoys the details of policy work and partnering with others to achieve change and find effective health solutions.
