The Senior Programme Manager - Systems approaches in government, will line manage a small team including a Manager and an Officer, and have key relationships in the Academy’s policy, education and international partnerships teams.

- To develop and deliver the Academy programme supporting the adoption of systems approaches in government and nurture the programme’s team
- To implement the Academy’s theory of change for building systems capabilities in government, to enable better policy making and public service delivery, by building the systems offer and stimulating demand across government
- To develop and maintain relationships with the Academy’s network of engineers and systems experts to grow and diversify their systems offer.

Our client is looking for an experienced programme manager with a passion for deploying the use of systems thinking methodologies to address complex challenges. You will be comfortable practicing and guiding others through a diversity of methods related to systems thinking or innovation in a policy, social change or industry context. You will be a natural collaborator and networker, adept at shaping complex projects and programmes that achieve high impact for discerning customers and audiences.
You’ll be able to demonstrate:

You’ll be able to demonstrate:
- Experience practicing systems thinking or innovation in a policy, social change or industry context
- Substantial experience of project management and programme design
- Experience developing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Extensive experience designing and delivering events, initiatives or programmes for expert audiences
- Experience delivering outputs and outcomes for customers and working to a brief
- Knowledge of systems thinking, service design and/or innovation methods and their application
- Good working knowledge of best practices in Diversity & Inclusion
- Strong and practical knowledge of programme monitoring and evaluation, and theory of change models
- Ability to understand and mobilise technical information and make it accessible to both a specialist and non-specialist audience.
