Role:
In this role you will:
- Lead on planning and design of analyses for Government, local authorities, internal delivery teams and external funders
- Conduct and advise on appropriate and accurate analysis and interpretation of data, including write up of results of research, evidence gathering and evaluation projects to required quality standards
- Provide expert advice on research methods and interpretation of results to internal delivery teams
- Commission, lead and project manage the work of external research contractors engaged in research, evidence gathering and evaluation projects for the organisation
- Disseminate the results of research verbally and in writing to both internal and external audiences.
Candidate:
- Educated to degree level in a numerical or research methods discipline
- Demonstrable evidence of waste/recycling/environment sector knowledge (to be able to carry out relevant analysis and apply research techniques)
- Theoretical and applied knowledge of research, evidence gathering and evaluation
- Strong work-based experience in research design and methods e.g. market or social research, economics
- Demonstrable evidence of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Confident communicator (verbal and written); experienced in writing clear technical reports and presenting complex data.
