​Role:

This is an exciting, newly created role to manage the organisation’s social media activities with the aim of increasing engagement with stakeholder groups. 

In this role you will:

• ​Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals
• Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Regularly review social media successes, adapt strategies accordingly to improve engagement
• Regularly report to management on social media engagement
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media and design tools
• Build brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.

​Candidate:​
​

• ​Educated to degree level or equivalent, or relevant professional qualification
• Able to demonstrate a real passion for social media and for engaging in relevant relationship building online
• Demonstrable social media marketing experience and experience developing social media strategies
• Ability to assess and evaluate the success of campaigns online
• A personal interest in and knowledge of the publishing and screenwriting industries would be a real benefit (though not essential)
• Understanding of graphic design principles
• Understanding of the unique needs of each social media platform, and the ability to develop the right voice for each platform.
