- Manage the day-to-day activity of the organisation’s social media channels
- Create engaging, rich content to attract new audiences and drive website and social media traffic
- Lead and manage social media campaigns for specific events and weekly activities
- Support the media team, write press releases and briefing materials, arrange media interviews for staff.
Candidate:
- Demonstrable track record of working within a communications team or social media role within a charity or non-profit organisation
- Experience of managing digital and social media projects and expertise in successfully engaging audiences on major social media platforms
- Strong editing and proofreading skills, experience of using HTML and CMSs
- Ability to make sound judgements and have a strong news sense.
